Buffaloe Floors Celebrates 60 Years with New Mascot and AI-Powered Ad Campaign
HOUSTON, TX — Buffaloe Floors, a trusted name in Texas flooring since 1965, is celebrating its 60th anniversary with the launch of a fresh ad campaign featuring Buffy the Buffalo, the company’s new mascot. The campaign debuts on Buffaloe Floors’ social media channels, where Buffy takes on the role of a friendly flooring expert helping customers explore flooring options.
What makes this campaign especially unique? It was produced entirely using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
“Prior to AI, small businesses like ours had to rely on expensive ad agencies, film crews, actors, and editors to produce commercials,” said Alfred Soyyar, owner of Buffaloe Floors. “With AI, I can create ads myself for minimal cost. It gives me the ability to bring creative ideas to life quickly and affordably, something that was never possible before.”
Soyyar plans to continue experimenting with AI technology to help improve the business, with the possibility of expanding the campaign to local TV once the ads are fine-tuned.
“AI allows me to take an idea and instantly see it come to life,” Soyyar added. “If the result isn’t exactly what I envisioned, I can adjust and refine it until it is. These advancements in AI are game changers for a business like ours. We strive to use these new technologies to help improve our business and give the customer an overall better experience. These ads are just a small example of AI’s capabilities and how we’ve incorporated it in our day to day.”
The buffalo mascot also serves as a tribute to the company’s founder, Glenn Buffaloe, who launched Buffaloe Floors in 1965 as a carpet cleaning business before expanding into flooring sales.
